@realtyadvisorsinc: The Hamptons in the summer might officially be overrated. The prices are one thing, but social media has completely changed the experience. A restaurant blows up on TikTok or Instagram and suddenly everyone on Long Island is driving east to try it. People who spend their entire summers out there are now fighting for reservations at places they’ve been going to for years. Montauk used to feel like the escape. Now even Montauk is getting packed. it's always been that way... no sympathy for the people who live there. my friends who live in the city say the same thing. Truth be told if the lost the suburban tourism the businesses would close or not be doing well
