i feel like there are a lot of things in rust that reward such unskilled behavior and that just make the game so unappealing after a long time. door camping, rewarding a camping playstyle in general, rocket pvp, input spoofing, offlining. it feels like there is no merit to actually trying to get good at the game when you can get rewarded for doing the bare minimum. it would be nice if there were ways to offset gameplay like this or reward more skill based gameplay with pvp but people just run out tier 2 guns and just run at you endlessly cause they have nothing to lose
