@jalen_hicks: Healthcare workers, the app you’re using to find a better weekly rate could come with costs you never see. 👀 Let me explain the recruiting side of this. Agencies pay to use platforms like Vivian. Those recruiting costs have to fit somewhere in the agency’s budget. If an agency builds those expenses into its contract pricing while protecting its profit margin, that can leave less room for your weekly pay. Does that mean everybody applying through Vivian gets paid less? No. Does contacting an agency directly automatically guarantee more money? Also no. But it IS worth asking how your package was calculated. Vivian can help you compare opportunities, but don’t assume the number on your screen is the most an agency can offer. Ask your recruiter, “Is this your best available package for this assignment?” Then compare the same hours, shift, benefits and stipend eligibility so you’re comparing the full picture. RNs, LPNs, CNAs and allied healthcare professionals, have you ever gotten two different rates for the SAME assignment? Tell me how far apart they were in the comments. 👇🏾🦄🩵
