try to put your finger just before the fret and don't be afraid to use the pad of your finger, it makes it easier to get a full sound when playing. Fluorescent Adolescent has one of my favourite basslines nice choice

You’re doing great! Just focus on being able to put the pressure on the strings near the fret and try to strengthen your hand by playing with your hand spread out. That took me a while to be able to be strong enough with my pinky. Keep on rocking!

You’re doing great! I would only advise resting your thumb in the pick up so you can anchor it and not have it float around all over the place. When you play a higher string then just rest your thumb on the string above it! Keep it up 👍

the rattling can be from playing the string too hard or holding the fret incorrectly, so that the string vibrates against the fret. Play around with the position/pressure of your right hand on the fret board, as well as the way you're playing the string with your left hand, to help fine tune getting the clearest notes

Fret buzz could also be from the action height needing to be adjusted. Sometimes instruments aren’t fully set up out the box. Your local guitar centre should be able to help.
