@rhinocody11: 30 YEARS DOWN ON A LIFE SENTENCE FOR ANOTHER MAN’S MURDER. He was 18 years old. Rhino was sentenced to LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE and sent into some of California’s harshest Level IV prisons. At that custody level, he wasn’t allowed access to education, meaningful jobs, or rehabilitation programs. His options were limited. Work out. Read. Draw. So he taught himself to draw—and became a phenomenal artist. While he was fighting to survive inside, life outside kept moving. He missed 30 years of birthdays, holidays, family, and his youth. Then his mother died. She never got to see her son walk free. After nearly 30 years, changes in the law gave Rhino another chance to fight for his freedom. Evidence, including surveillance video and six key factors in discovery, helped uncover what had been missed for decades. Rhino finally walked free. The judge acknowledged the mistakes that had been made and apologized on behalf of the State of California. But how do you give someone 30 years back? How do you give him back his mother? His youth? His life? You can’t. They took a kid. He became a survivor. And after finally coming home, Rhino found his first job—ready to build the life he never got to have. Then, on the way to work, he was T-boned in a devastating accident. Five broken ribs. A brain bleed. A stroke. Paralyzed on his left side. After surviving 30 years in prison, Rhino was finally free—but the fight wasn’t over. This is Rhino. This is his story. And this is only the beginning. Follow us on this journey as Rhino continues to rebuild his life, face the battles that came after prison, and show the world what it means to survive the unimaginable. #30Years #california #prison #life #fyp @Desi ♥️🧡💛 @Level IV Outlaws

This art is beyond talent! Wow, just wow! I'm so sorry for the experiences you've had though. I'm a C.O and a good one. I truly do believe and know people who aren't guilty end up in prisons at a very high rate. Especially if it it like murder when a DAs office has to answer and find someone guilty, sometimes it's just anyone. I'm glad you're out and hope you enjoy your journey as a free man from here on out.
