In general, I don't think blocking's healthy. Such should be reserved for people that are stalking you & threatening your safety. Blocking communicates weakness, laziness, & disrespect. Be polite & respectfully inform them that you don't feel you're a good match. Let them answer. If they persist in beating a dead horse, tell them you won't be responding to further communication on the subject. Blocking's usually not necessary. Moreover, it could prevent you from learning important insights about that person, yourself, & relationships in general.
