Flooding tents and camps turning into swamps! The Sameer Project is starting a winter campaign to provide tents and tarps, and also to send sand and pebble trucks to displacement camps. We anticipate a rough winter in Gaza this year so we really need your material support to help as many people as possible. Give to our General Fund today. Since the rain started, we wanted to make a dua’a for Gaza: Ya Allah, as the rain falls, let Your mercy fall upon the people of Gaza. Ya Allah, protect them from fear, hunger, cold, illness, destruction and loss. Shelter those without homes, keep the children safe, heal the wounded, strengthen the grieving, and reunite families who have been separated. Ya Allah, provide food for the hungry, water for the thirsty, warmth for those exposed to the cold, and safety for those living in fear. Ya Allah, make every drop of this rain a source of mercy, healing and relief. Turn their hardship into ease, their fear into safety, and their suffering into relief. Ya Allah, protect the people of Gaza and grant them justice, dignity, freedom and lasting peace. Accept the prayers of those who are suffering, and do not leave them alone in their hardship. 🤲🏽🤲🏽🤲🏽
