Bjorka Cavec :
Are the people above actually just spectators or security personnel? Why are their catching movements so slow and always late? Very unprofessional.

I'm always glad to meet a Rufio… and always heartbroken when I have to. I know a lot of people in this life have found themselves forced into duties not their own… and If you’ve ever had to do this… then you’re a ”Rufio”. If you’re one of us, then at times you’ve had to sacrifice your own childhood, peace, and physical safety so that others might have theirs. Perhaps at times you’ve even had to emotionally regulate, physically protect, or raise the adults in your life. If you’re a Rufio, it is likely you thought that this was your responsibility. It may have even felt as normal as breathing. You might’ve even known other kids doing the same work when they got home. Maybe it was the only way you knew to be safe and avoid certain kinds of harm. I did this work in my own life. I thought I was doing it because I was being loving. That I was being a “good child”. I know now, that… I was just trying to survive. If you have to do this kind of work in your youth, It leaves wounds on you deeper than you’d think. When you get older… you often have to do the difficult work of healing them. Sometimes in doing so, you swing so hard in the opposite direction, that you find yourself almost rebelling against another’s needs. So, you don’t give up and you keep trying to fight your way back toward the middle. Re-Learning how to care for others while also caring for yourself. It’s no easy feat. So, to those who had to grow up too soon, who carried heavy things, swallowed their tears and kept their mouths closed… to every Rufio with a Captain Hook… If no one ever tells you, thank you… for all you’ve done and did. I know it wasn’t easy, maybe still isn’t, and I’ll always wish that it could’ve been different for you. But… I do know a noble thing or two about a “Rufio” Namely, that “Thanks” or “No thanks”… “Fair” or “Unfair” They always show up for the ones they love… and they are always good in a scrap. Pirates or otherwise. Bangarang. Love Ya - J. @RufioZuko #HookMovie #Rufio #InnerChildHealing #ChildhoodTrauma #Parentification
