I somehow decided I’m not allowed to decorate/paint/etc until my house is clean. So on top of the decision fatigue, it’s never going to happen.

omg. Omg. I’ve never connected my adhd (and/or trauma) to this. I am in my dream home. I bought this house on MY OWN and moved in 2019. I have still not put up drapes or blinds. I have an outdoor fire pit in a box behind me right now behind me. This hit me so hard.

Yes. This is chronic. I have so many decorating ideas and I do the online shopping and I buy the things and then they sit in boxes for years.

I should paint the walls first because I’ll just have to take them down.. They walls need it. But do I paint the ceiling too? Should do that first. If I’m going to do all this, I should get the rug replaced too. 10 years later.. no pictures. Or paint. Or rug.
