There is so much meaning behind the things Marcellus says. The octopus is smarter than many people in this world, and somehow, he sees people more clearly than they see themselves. Maybe we should listen to him more. Not because he is an octopus, but because sometimes it takes someone outside of our world to see what we have forgotten about being human. We are so busy living, judging, hurting and trying to find our own way that we often forget to simply understand each other. Marcellus reminds us that people are complicated, that loneliness doesn’t always look lonely, and that sometimes the people who seem lost just need someone to truly see them. Maybe we humans should stop thinking we know everything and start listening a little more even when the one teaching us is an octopus. 🐙🤍
