@cassondrachristman: Another day of heartbreak for handsome dodger. He’s around 3 years old and so unsure of the shelter. I was so confused when I heard the sad howl and I went over there and it looked like it was coming from dodger but I thought he was doing something with his toy and then he lifted his head and let out that big sad cry again. He truly does just want to be with people again. It’s really sad. The dogs spend a lot of hours alone overnight. the staff introduced Dodge to a puppy yesterday and he was pretty scared and wanted to run away, but somebody who knew him in his earlier years did say that he grew up with other dogs so it could just be the environment Dodger is waiting at Maui Humane Society If you do not live on Maui and are interested in adopting mainland US adoptions are possible airline and travel is usually around $1000-$1500 depending on location and size of the pup.
