@thechrishinton: What if the person you call “you” is partly a collection of strategies built from old wounds? Your mind turned experiences into conclusions, conclusions into strategies, strategies into patterns, and patterns into identity. Maybe healing begins when you stop automatically believing the voice and become the one who notices it. #traumahealing #selfawareness #HealingJourney #personalgrowth #selfdiscovery
When you undo who you learned to be, how do you figure out who you are. Feels kinda empty once you unravel everything.

yes! it’s within this space we have the choice to make a different decision, to respond differently. Most people think they will never feel the thing again after they “heal” healing is being aware of the triggers. Ego is the automatic response. Your brain is developing ways to always keep you safe and conserve energy. While at the same time we take on these as part of our “identity” but that isn’t who we are. Who we are is always love. Love in being present. Leading with love for our self and others is how we heal our self and others.

I’m still not sure what I think about Elara Vance arche type quiz. Some parts felt obvious and other parts were strangely specific. I’m making my friend do it now too.

I know I am not ok. One day at a time. These videos are insightful. Fear of trusting your heart to someone is my greatest challenge. To allow myself to be vulnerable etc…..

Yes, I've been through ALL of those. I spent most of my life thinking that I wasn't enough and periodically transition through thinking that I'm TOO much. But I've finally broken through those tapes. Importantly, you've just made me realize why my fiance' needs to be constantly reassured. He wasn't valued as a child and I'm very happy to provide him with that reassurance. I'm also grateful to have been able to make him aware of his previous programming so that he can make better choices now. Thank you for your insights and self-examination processes! They've been very valuable, not only to me, but to those I love. ❤️

a few years ago I hired an expensive life coach and when people ask me the #1 thing I got from it, I say exactly this - noticing it. Seeing what I feel, from a 3rd person, looking from outside myself, at myself.

This! It’s been eye opening finding out more about how to work through my past. The inner child has to know she’s ok and let the adult lead. I’ve grown and created boundaries I never thought would be possible. We are not what we have gone through for sure.

Thank you for sharing this today. This resonates with where I am. For those of us that are deconstructing the conditioning of our childhood. This gives me the words to unpack the trauma and find freedom.
