@hustlersnthehood: A woman on TikTok posted herself in tears with a line on the screen: "9 years late but i did it." She had just gotten her GED. Over 16,000 people commented. A lot of them came with a story of their own. The most liked reply was from a woman who got married at 17 and left high school one credit short. GED at 41. Bachelor's at 45. Master's at 55. Now she's working on her PhD. Somebody remembered a 66-year-old in her GED class, on her third try, doing it because it was her mom's last wish. She did it that year. A girl found out her mom was graduating the same year she was. Her mom never finished because she was pregnant with her. A mom went back at 34 after her two teens asked her, "if you didn't do it, why should I?" Another remembered a 90-year-old in her class who quit school when she got married and vowed to go back for her GED. She passed it. A 28-year-old got her GED in February and started college last month. One reply put it plain: "Don't devalue your efforts because of an imaginary timeline." Video: @pinkkiwi.mp3 #HustlersNTheHood
