@shanajray: WHEN THE VISION HITS… I HAVE TO MAKE IT. ✂️🧵✨ I pulled this patchwork/tribal-inspired fabric out of storage last night, looked at it for about two seconds, and immediately saw a two-piece set. 😂 So I grabbed my scissors, cut the patchwork into squares, rearranged it, and started stitching. A few cuts, a few quick seams, a little chopping and screwing… and suddenly I had a vest + wrap mini skirt. 🤎🖤✨ This wasn’t a planned project. There was no sketch, no pattern, no long sewing session. I literally just had a vision in my head and needed to get it OUT. 😂 And honestly, THIS is one of my favorite things about sewing. Being able to look at a piece of material and see something completely different from what’s sitting in front of me. Taking what I have, playing with it, moving things around, and turning the idea in my head into something I can actually put on my body. I’ll do another video breaking down where this material came from, how I put the pieces together, and some of the little details behind the design—but for now, here’s the quick version of me bringing the vision to life. 🧵✨ I don’t always sew because I have a plan.
