It's infuriating that the 8th Amendment doesn't have the same teeth it should when it comes to civil detention. I don't know if that needs a constitutional amendment or a law to change it, but that needs to be a priority as long as there's an administration that's going to put people in concentration camps & treat them worse than animals.

Remember the movie Johnny Dangerously? There was the gag about the guy getting deported to Sweden, even though he wasn’t from there. A time when everyone knew that we would never deport people to the wrong country.
