one night me and my nurse, did compressions on a new mom for 45 minutes, it was a snow storm, ambulance got stuck. She lived, and takes care of her baby to this day 😭

10 minutes of good chest compressions will have your arms about to fall off, even with adrenaline it’s still difficult because you’re literally cracking someone’s ribs enough to manually pump their heart for them. That’s a real friend right there to keep going for over 30 minutes.

i’m only CPR certified because my job required it, but honestly after going through it i feel like it should be taught in all schools and mandatory for everyone to learn and test for every school year

I did 22 mins of chest compressions on my husband who had a massive heart attack, I saved his life, 2 main blockages, I’m a instructor in CPR. Never thought my first life being saved would be my husband.

30 minutes is incredible. His friend must have been running off of pure adrenaline. CPR is exhausting! Was his friend CPR certified or was he just doing his best with what he knew?

the amount of adrenaline and stamina it takes for ine man to do chest compressions for 30 minutes straight. he physically wouldnt have been able to do it if he didnt care as much. that is a ride or die friend right there
