@the.anywherenurse: I landed my first remote nursing job in 2019 without prior experience in that specialty, and have been working remotely ever since. The biggest mistake I see nurses make now is assuming their experience alone should be enough to get them through the door. Unfortunately, it’s too competitive for that approach. If your resume isn’t clearly translating what you’ve already done into the skills that role is looking for, you’ll be unlikely to make it past the computer that does the first sweep of resumes. And when you’re applying late, you’re making an already competitive process even harder. Applying smarter is the goal! This is why I built resume resources around targeting remote nursing roles when your background doesn’t perfectly match the job title yet. The link is in my bio & DMs are open. 💕🩺💻 #remotenurse #remotenursing #softnursing #wfhnurse
