I think It depends on the persons lens and the way they view or don’t view ego. Someone who might be spiritual and all about oneness and whatnot might not have yet come to the understanding of the densities/effects in vibration and how that relates to themselves and their interaction with others. But who knows👀

I have thoughts buuut… religion definitely causes this because it is used to control the masses. It is also intertwined with the patriarchy which is horrible in itself. They do want everything to be the same. At least that’s the case for the mass majority. They don’t truly realize how negatively it has impacted them and they don’t understand spiritually in a healthy way

It’s super inconsistent to say we need to consent to things like energy healing but think that others can attack us with negative energy whenever they feel like it. Free will baby!
