@laurenrelf_: If you’re a mum on maternity leave worrying about how to afford your baby’s first Christmas, here’s how I funded mine without rushing back to work 🎄 Because maternity leave is supposed to be such a special time. I wanted to enjoy the slow mornings, the endless cuddles and all those little moments with my baby without constantly worrying about maternity pay and how we were going to afford everything. And then there was Christmas. Her first Christmas. The presents. The little traditions. The days out and making memories as a family. I didn’t want to be sat on maternity leave worrying about whether we could afford to make it special. I wanted to be able to buy the presents, enjoy the Christmas days out and say yes to those little things without constantly checking our bank account. But I also didn’t want to rush back to work just to make it happen. So during maternity leave, I stepped outside my comfort zone and started learning about Canva, digital products and digital marketing. I started in the small pockets of time I had around my baby — during naps, evenings and whenever I could. And those little pockets of time eventually gave me an extra income stream that helped me pay for my baby’s first Christmas without having to cut my maternity leave short. I was originally just hoping to make an extra £200 a month. Instead, I’ve now earned over £8,000 online, reduced my hours at work and created so much more flexibility around family life. ✨ More time with my daughter ✨ More family days out and holidays ✨ Renovating our forever home ✨ More freedom around work ✨ And being able to enjoy Christmas with my baby without feeling like I had to rush back to work to afford it That’s why I started this. Not because I wanted another job. Because I wanted to enjoy maternity leave, be present for my baby and still have money coming in. If you’re on maternity leave, living on maternity pay and quietly worrying about how you’re going to afford your baby’s first Christmas, you do have options ❤️ Comment or message me CHRISTMAS and I’ll send you my free beginner guide on how this works 🤍 And don’t forget to be following me so I can message you xx
