@ctorobotics: What if a drone could hop instead of constantly flying? 👀🤖 HopTo Technology’s Hopcopter combines flying and jumping into one unusual robotic platform. The idea is simple: use hopping for ground movement and flight when needed, creating a robot designed for complex terrain. HopTo is showcasing its technology at IROS 2026. It looks unusual… but could this be the future of robots built for rough terrain? 🏢 Company: HopTo Technology , @hopto_tech 🎥 Media: @ErenChenAI ( X ) ⚠️ This content is shared for informational purposes only. Other than potentially saving battery, why would a drone hop instead of flying all the time. Because now the drone also has to waste battery carrying the leg around while it's flying

What if the kinetic energy helps fuel the battery cell

😂😂

Harv outdoors :

I dont know if it does already but they should add a tiny electric generator in it to convert the bounce into a tiny bit of energy that could add a little more range

It looks so happy to be there
