So I guess everybody seen that video 😂 this feud is what has killed the truck scene. Driveway builds are always going to be fun. I have oil stains as proof.. but people need to understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Some people want to pay and be done. Let’s just have fun and enjoy the same passion

Built gives you the journey and knowledge. Not saying you can’t learn from bought, but the knowledges developed in built is much more defined through the process

There is a certain amount of pride in building your own rig, you know every nut bolt and ziptie, you can claim a win yourself or with a small group of friends, unlike ripping off a check for it

wrenching is definitely half of the fun. I love a good rip in a truck you've built yourself, but the nights/days of building that truck is where it's at for me.

The money flexing is the biggest issue. Money doesn’t mean anything when it comes to results and not knowing the basics around dealing with your truck is why we see a lot of people flexing hp numbers that they “should” be making because they copied some combo that has made 1000hp. Yet never put it on a dyno to dial it in and more times then not those truck are heavily under performing making 6-700hp on those combos

This is me. You can have time, money, and skill. But never all three at the same time. Built not bought my K30. time and skill, no money. Bought not built, money and skill, but no time. I can definitely see the allure of buying one that’s pretty close and do the fun stuff you want.

I wish I had time to do all of my work on my sled truck, running a business, managing some acres and helping keeping my family going, i don’t have time. But best believe, if I have a weekend open, I will always work on my truck myself

Once someone flexes their money and tries to degrade others lose me as a follower. I don’t support that. Everyone’s on a different budget, every one’s in it for their own love of the diesel game. Also the guys that buy not build don’t respect it because they haven’t built it period.
