It's stuff like this that makes it impossible to get jobs nowadays. I'll never forget the time my buddy was trying to apply for software development positions after graduating college around 2010, and everywhere he was applying to was asking for 5 years of experience using a coding platform that had only been released 6 months prior. Upon trying to explain this to the hiring managers, they told him "well unfortunately without 5 years of experience, I don't believe this is going to work out."
