out of context: please help us Rhodes student andazi kanjani but please if you dont yet know what is happening you can search on tiktok... but all in all they want student to clear up 50% of their debt mind you Res alone is 92k+ and everyone needs to pay that 50% imagine students who are doing their third years already???? and this money needs to be paid in 3 months before next year Jan abazali bethu majority dont work. so as students we decided to strike and since the strike started they are starving us ... Rhodes University is a catered varsity meaning we dont cook for our selves siphekelwa apha... some students havent eaten since Monday and its Wednesday today... our seniors (im a first year) are trying their best to buy bread for us but they are also students and the money they are using for us they prolly had plans for it but they are sacrificing it for us... We cant even go home because some of us live in different provinces... ohh yhini khanincede bethuna... and we are high key facing racism first hand... we being called hooligans, ungrateful brats, ka***s. Kuthwa police should be called on us and they must bring guns to shoot anyone who is striking... lecturers are already running us with their cars we have their names and number plates but who do we send it to when its us against the school... Please help even if its by reposting some of their videos maybe someone out there might have a wayy to help
