@crmnallyobsessed: GUILTY: A jury has convicted former Ohio music pastor and “American Idol” contestant Caleb Flynn of murdering his wife, Ashley Flynn. Prosecutors said Flynn shot his 37-year-old wife inside their Tipp City home, then staged the scene to look like a deadly home invasion. Flynn had maintained that a burglar killed her. The verdict followed a trial centered on Flynn’s affair with Alleigha Botner, tens of thousands of messages between the two, and texts in which prosecutors said Flynn repeatedly expressed hatred toward Ashley and thoughts of killing her. The night before Ashley’s death, prosecutors said Flynn texted Botner: “I choose you. I’m free. Actions will come tomorrow.” Flynn closed his eyes and shook his head as the guilty verdicts were read on charges of murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence. He later began sobbing as the jury was dismissed. His attorney called the verdicts “disappointing” and said an appeal is expected.
