@yahooentertainment: Sylvester Stallone wasn’t exactly sure Hollywood needed a biopic about him just yet. 🥊 ⠀ During a conversation at 92NY, Stallone said he initially had mixed feelings about “I Play Rocky,” which follows the making of the 1976 classic. “I’m not dead yet. Aren’t we jumping the gun a little bit?” he recalled thinking. ⠀ But after seeing Anthony Ippolito as his younger self, Stallone was stunned by the resemblance. “I actually thought it was me the first moment,” he said, calling the portrayal “unbelievable.” ⠀ Stallone said he had “nothing to do” with the film, aside from offering to answer any questions Ippolito had.

You ain't even close to dead man, the movie is a tribute to the story, and the fact of the matter is that your particular story is One of the greatest American stories of all time, to me, for you it is like getting the presidential medal of freedom man!" you personally should be the proudest American on the planet!"
