One of my girls has a heart murmur since 4 years old, she’s 11 now and no issues, no meds, she lives a normal life 🥰 it obviously depends how severe it is, however peanut will be fine! 💖

Look into the best cardiac supplements to use. One of my dogs went 8-9 years before he needed to start on heart meds and shocked even the cardiologist. He started on meds a year ago.

Heart murmurs are THE WORST. I don’t have a dachshund (yet), but I do know a lot about them because I research about what health problems they have, and what they need, etc. I hope your little peanuts gonna be tough!

This little guy of mine was diagnosed with valve disease, thats why i called him precious heart 🥹 He turned 17 yrs old last sept. 25. And Thank God tru meds and monitoring he is okay.
