Medical school in the US: take on crippling amounts of debt in order to eventually have guaranteed entry into the upper class, potentially very wealthy. Medical school everywhere else: take on little to no debt to chase your dream and have a really comfortable living.

If we got rid of these corporations and insurances and let the healthcare workers make the calls about patient care. Maybe more people would go into and stay in healthcare. Most people that go into some kind of healthcare truly want to help people, its not about money.

I believe the doctors that are pushing for universal healthcare will absolutely regret it. Getting starting late in life and now paying them much less is very risky

I’ve heard that the costs diminish with universal healthcare because of reduced support personnel who’s job it is to bill insurance companies

I also think a comment beds to be made that if someone is going into medicine JUST for the money — do we really want to be cared by them anyways? Yes they have the knowledge but do they have the compassion to think out of the box
