The part of it that sucks the most is the fact that it’s unpaid and you’re in another person’s classroom. I had my own room last year and it was BLISS. I fulfilled all my requirements by just doing my job. This year there was no vacancy so I’m in another person’s room and I feel like I’m walking on egg shells. I hated it in undergrad. Still hate it in grad. Highkey contemplating leaving education after I graduate

Actually it’s even worse than that. You didn’t only work for free, YOU actually paid money for the privilege of doing that free labor, since you’re presumably paying your college for the student teaching credits to be counted. It truly is a scam
