@elektra_rexley_isla: Isla is still in pain. It is clearly going to take time for her to heal. I’ve been very careful with how I dispense her medication. I think the vet was liberal with them. when fully medicated she doesn’t realize she’s not better. So, I’m using them very carefully. Yesterday I didn’t give her any because the day before when I followed my vets advise to the T, she started to play like a 13 month old. Yesterday when I got home I could see she was feeling it. I need her to feel it a little so she’s more careful. I came home today and could see she was in pain. I gave her gabapentin and settled her back in. I have Rex and Isla seperated for now. At least for a few more days. Rexie comes to work with me daily, by the time we come home he’s super tired anyway and goes to bed in my room.
