thank you for these recommendations (from a UK therapist working with sexual violence survivors). may I also recommend Laura Bates' books, such as everyday sexism, men who hate women, and the new age of sexism. they're particularly powerful and interesting. ‘I don’t want to talk about it’ by Terrence Real is also a must read. Especially if we are to undo all of this from the roots 🙏 it’s about the way depression is presented in males and their behaviour because of it. Need the insight to tackle the problem from the root cause.

Change starts with big cases that are popular because they start important conversations. They give a time and place for men and women to show their stance on important issues. This is the time to rally and get support. I don’t know if you’ve seen but so many women and men have been speaking up about their own cases at the moment too. This one case has opened a platform of outrage and support which men should join too. It isn’t ALL men so where are the good ones who are against this violence?? SPEAK UP!!!
