This is what I have been saying. It absolutely sucks that those poor babies probably won't get justice. But justice requires a case to be proven beyond reasonable doubt, and the prosecution simply did not do that. The lack of investigation is what ruined this for those babies. I don't know who killed them (Lindsay, Patrick, a Yeti, Bigfoot, etc.), but I do know that with the evidence we have seen so far there is mountains of doubt.

I was talking about this with a friend. I told them it looks way more like Patrick did it than that Lindsay did it and he said “Oh what do you think he should go to jail??” … I just spent 45 minutes explaining how the cops botched the investigation so there isn’t enough evidence. I also said multiple times I believe it’s worse to put an innocent person in jail than let a guilty person go free. So obviously not. I just wouldn’t let him near me cause at the very least he’s a liar. 🤷♂️

I unfortunately think so as well even if patrick goes to trial, unless theres new stuff coming out, for example after getting patricks phone records with incriminating messages or some other kind of waterproof evidence I dont think he will be convicted

the saddest part is that we will never know how many times this has happened before and they got away with it and it'll likely keep happening. Ultimately the kids will never get the justice they deserve because the police and the prosecution didn't do their jobs, and that'll happen to many other victims

I respectfully disagree that the question is did she do it. The question is can the State PROVE she did it. What most people don’t understand about the justice system is that it has nothing to do with finding the truth. Most if not all the time the truth is irrelevant. It’s about what can be proven in the court of law based on the laws that allow portions of the truth and untruths that allow to be presented so that each side can tell a story and whoever’s story is more compelling wins. Jury’s are not impartial. It’s against the nature of humans to be impartial so we appeal to their emotions. Don’t come for me. Come for the “justice” system.
