Devie Bunting :
every hotel discloses their minimum check in age whether it's their own site or a secondary site. he should have done the due diligence.

Jes :
This is a common hotel policy, especially if the hotel has a bar.

Yeah, that’s policy at a lot of hotels. I was going to suggest Hilton and see yall went that route! Rental cars are also difficult if you’re under 25.

He just needs to try another hotel. And don’t bother with Expedia again.

Well, when my 18 year-old needed to reserve a room, he called around all the hotels to find out which hotel would let an 18-year-old rent a room .

Wait is this not common knowledge? I grew up in a tourist town so we always knew we had to have 21+ book our hotels for parties lol.

It’s sucks but that’s pretty standard. I remember a young couple being stranded at an airport with me bc they weren’t old enough to rent I car. I rented one and took them with me. What else were they going to do 😕

Lady, you weren’t even a customer there. Your adult son was. He’s old enough to travel on his own, but not old enough to deal with these issues? This is doing way too much.

This was Expedia not being clear. Never book through third party vendors, especially Expedia

Ten Shakes of Grace :
Their website lists it as a policy. This is just another reason I don’t use third party vendors. You’re blaming the hotel.. you should be calling Expedia for not listing hotel policies
