Once again, keep in mind that this is one person’s experience using one Dexcom Stelo, one Dexcom G7, and one Freestyle Libre 3 Plus, so this is not meant to be an overall assessment of which sensor is most accurate for everybody. While we test, I also share about sensor lag time, and how sensors measure interstitial fluid, which will lag about 10-15 minutes behind actual glucose levels in the blood, which blood glucose meters measure. Software algorithms on CGM’s have evolved over time to compensate for some of that lag, lowering the effective lag to about 5 minutes. #continuousglucosemonitor #dexcomstelo #libre3plus #FreestyleLibre3 #t1d #t2d #metabolism #prediabetes
