It should be against the law to search rental vehicles for drugs. Cause nobody has any clue who drove the vehicle last and what they did. It might be a different story if you have a record. But if your record is clean and you rent a vehicle that someone else used and they left something in the vehicle. You will be blamed for it. One time I rented a car for a vacation trip with my family. Got it home and was loading stuff in it. And I found a bottle of pills. With random shapes and sizes no name on the bottle. That shit went in the trash. After that before I leave a lot I will search anywhere that someone might try hiding something. Cause I'm not getting caught for someone else's crime.

dogs easily signled w/a minor learned cue & these dogs r given big praise & treats to signal & that alone becomes why these dogs rarely don't alert Their success rate not cuz they competent but more that America has hugh drug use so these dogs earn credit that is just the high number of times they used & the chance of discovery high do to lifestyle in America. If challenged in independent tests these dogs not very successful in finding drugs thst are there. Also dogs that are used in police competition kept trained daily to drug smells as ones in back seats haven't sniffed any since certification & police k9's taken hm & family pets not the working dogs the military keeps trained w/no distractions or other life. Also dogs used in competition & in public demonstrations even if living like a family knowing when the dates & times these events occuring allow a window to practice & sharpen these dogs skills even given fresh scents b4 entering this venue reg backseat k9's slso don't get.When dogs scent skill needed to find people or bodies they get fresh scents & breeds of dogs with most natural at preforming this tasks & also used by hunters because they as a breed follow scents of prey w/o training & why some not good choice as pets as this instinct to scent has family beagle that gets a chance they will follow a scent of rabbit or raccoon etc for miles & this causes lots of Police K9's most used have skills that are useful in many ways to everday police work & safety this majority not bred or known to b chosen as scent dogs in recovery or hunting as not a natural skill all dogs smell ability higher then human but dogs w/natural physical body traits & instincts that make them best at this not the usual K9 in coos back seat

the drug sniffing dogs are such bs as a reason to search people's cars. if a dog alerts and nothing is found it should be an automatic 30day suspension without pay on the officer and compensation to the citizens theu detained.
