This threw me back to my father’s last years with alzheimers, left with no memory, no future, his eyes was were often either extremly frightened or just completely empty. With the capability to still be able to choose to remember and/or fantasise about the future, with the knowledge you do still have references, I, as a conscious human, can find this is a comforting and peaceful exercise, but completely with out, I do not know, but I know what I saw… but maybe it’s not possible to compare a cognitive disease with this practice ❤️
