@inventionontt: Original Video Credit: IG/ghorbani646464 Across the surface of a large soapy rug, three scrub brushes spin together as the operator guides the modified tool back and forth. The rotating brushes continuously work the cleaning solution into the carpet while mechanically disturbing dirt embedded between the fibers. Instead of a conventional trimmer head, the machine uses a custom attachment that positions three brushes around the rotating shaft. As the motor turns the assembly, the bristles repeatedly sweep and scrub the wet carpet, combining rotational motion with downward pressure to agitate the fibers far faster than manual brushing. Powered agitation can make cleaning large textile surfaces considerably less labor-intensive by repeatedly working detergent through the material. The improvised design demonstrates how a rotary power tool can be adapted to perform a completely different mechanical task by replacing its original cutting attachment with a purpose-built scrubbing head.
