😩 FLAT HAIR? DO THIS: ⭐️ If your hair loses volume the second you leave the house, this is how I build BIG hair that actually lasts. The secret is combining grip, root texture, and strategic teasing without making the hair look messy. 1️⃣ Start with texture spray from roots to mid lengths. Mist through the lower roots and mid section of the hair instead of only spraying directly on the scalp because this gives the hair grip and structure so your teasing actually has something to hold onto. Super soft or silky hair usually collapses way faster. 2️⃣ Brush the product through with a boar bristle brush with nylon pins so the texture spray distributes evenly through the section. The longer pins help separate the hair while the natural bristles smooth everything out, which gives you texture without the hair getting clumpy. 3️⃣ Add texture powder right at the root using a SMALL amount exactly where you want extra lift, then gently shake the section to work it into the base. Texture powder gives the roots that instant fullness and grip that makes such a difference, especially if you have fine hair. 4️⃣ Tease with intention using a skinny teasing comb or rat tail brush and push the hair toward the root in small controlled strokes. On the top sections, keep your teasing underneath or slightly behind the section so everything stays hidden once you smooth it over and the finished result still looks polished. 5️⃣ Smooth the surface without crushing the volume by lightly gliding your boar bristle brush over the outside of the hair. You only want to polish that top layer while leaving all the structure underneath untouched so you keep the lift you just created. ☝️ Texture powder is STRONG so start with less than you think you need. When you combine texture spray, powder, and the right teasing placement, you can create serious volume without your hair looking tangled or stiff.
