Lockheed has produced great fighters. With Boeing having been known for cost cutting and dodgy production methods, maybe we should stick with Lockheed 😁😁😁

Not sure on this one Alex. Eggs in one basket feeling not great. Kind of was hoping they’d go the other direction. Guess we will see if this ends up like the YF22 and YF23 in a few years. I also thought the USN wanted a longer range than that. Guess we will see.

Any rumors about the propulsion system? I was there in the swamps of West Palm Beach when we celebrated the ATF engine win as a young engineer, helped win the engine position on F/A-X before it was canceled for an ASTOVL/MRF/JSF mash-up, and saw first flights of the X-32 and X-35 as a program manager, so I’m hopeful that legacy of thrust you can trust continues with this new platform!
