Quince Mom :
I don’t like that they are making this change. No hate to you, I just don’t like it because there is a reason they have other staff. Is the plan to eventually reduce staff?

You are doing an amazing job at this, but on camera it comes across as you not focused on talking to the audience because you’re so focused on everything else. To be clear, this is not your fault or me saying you’re not doing a good job. You’re doing amazing! It’s just too much for one person and we’re losing the engagement with you.

So this is to save money. Fire people and then force others to do multiple jobs. I am sorry y'all have to go through this.

You are doing A TON of things at once - I don’t think anyone could pay close attention to responses.

I don’t think it’s fair to the person you’re interviewing to not have your full attention. And it definitely comes across on the tv point of view that you’re distracted obviously because you’re trying to run everything. It’s just impossible to be able to give your full attention to one thing when you’re trying to do 800 things at once. Youre doing a phenomenal job with what you’ve been handed but damn it’s a lot!

You’re only going to be able to handle this for so long. If everyone says enough is enough and walks away, then they can’t keep getting away with this.

that is why it comes off as so distracted when you are doing a live interview. yes you are doing it well enough. but i just feel like it inhibits your actual talent with interviews. I don't think one person is good. two people would be better. one to run equipment and one to do the on camera stuff. I dont think time will make that aspect better. it is inherently flawed.

I come from radio so I know what it’s like to be live and run a board at the same time. But KUDOS to you for doing this while on camera!! I cannot imagine how difficult this is especially between all of the other interviews, stories, etc. that you cover. You really shouldn’t have to do all of this and it’s sad to see

I have been watching your videos of this new format and you are for sure getting better, no doubt there, but at what cost? You are completing a task, but the intentionality and focus is no longer there. You are getting a job done. Check check and check. ✔️✅ ☑️

This is taking cost cutting to a new level! This is not fair to ask you to do all of these jobs! You’re amazing, but obviously putting too much on one person will affect the quality, it’s pretty surprising that the new station does not care about their audience or putting this much on you!

Serious question, please answer if you can. Is this live to broadcast… or only to streaming? And is this for all day parts / the new standard?
