I had the Mirina iud a few years back and bleed non stop constantly till I had it taken out 3 months into having it. I have the nexplanon implant now and LOVE it. I’m protected for 5 years 🥰

I used to use the patch continuously, I could go 1.5-3 months between periods. then the uterine lining would become too unstable and force a "period" that'd last about a week. I noticed when I gave myself a period once a month it was lighter than when I went longer between periods as well. but both were pretty low pain

if you take the pills without taking the placebos just back to back which I don't recommend it takes away your period I learned that the hard way never again sometimes you have to trial and error birth controls but I love the birth control pill I was on I have an appointment today to get back on it and I'm excited for it

I’ve been on the shot for 7months. They told me it’s normal after ur first 2 to still have ur period consistently and now I’m on the 3rd shot and my period has NOT STOPPED at all for 7months so

I had the Kyleena but it fell out lol didn’t make 3 months I feel like it wasn’t placed right anyway plus using a diva (period cup) wasn’t a good idea. Now I have the Mirena hoping it stops my period. Had depo for 2 years and didn’t have a period!
