It about writing the right amount of code that does the job and doesn't break the program. You can solve a problem in a lot of different ways. In a perfect world, the code is readable, kinda short and efficient.

my manager once called me for a one to one meeting with him. and he said "my total line of code is pathetic". after that I just write confusing code where usually I could write a function with 5 lines, I make it 20 lines. but then a month later he called me again and said "your code is not optimized, too many variables etc" so what should I do? 🤣
