Have you been to a doctor or dentist to rule out anything medical happening with your nose or mouth? Eating with some of those noseplugs swimmers use might be a band-aid until you figure out what’s happening. Hope you figure it out ❤️

I’m sorry, this sounds awful. Ive had a similar experience, only it was dirty ashtray, not sewage. I kept stuffing my nose in a jar of cinnamon or a can of coffee or freshly peeled oranges and it helped immensely. It was due to covid and lasted about six weeks. I hope yours is temporary, too, and you find some relief.

I’m so sorry, this is a known (if rare) side effect of COVID infections. I’d recommend a doctor who specializes in long covid 🫂
