That’s what I did with my then boyfriend. He was in bootcamp and I sent him a letter every. single. day. They don’t get mail til the end of the week, so the end of the week he would have 7+ letters from me 🤣 I do miss them days. 🥲

I sent my husband so many letters and he didn't tell me till he got back that the drill sergeant genuinely tried to convince him that they were guilty letters. they told him I was cheating on him and only wrote so many letters because I felt guilty. which was completely untrue and he had a hard time trusting me when he got back because they had tormented him

When I was in basic, we had to do so many push ups per "letter." My uncle sent me like 10 at once. Only 1 had a real letter.. the rest were empty.. but I had to earn them nonetheless..
