I appreciate you acknowledging Mary Allen College. Could you next time use the correct terminology for people of color for the time period? Negro. African Americans refer that they're from Africa or decent of African most people of the time had grand Parents that were labeled as Indians. African American is a term that originated in 1988 with Jessie Jackson. thank You I'm advanced.

It’s so sad that the people we chose to put into mayoral office of Crockett decided that this building wasn’t “worth” restoring so they let it get so bad that now they CANT restore it no matter how hard they try, it’s absolutely heartbreaking. Literally TOOK the money they were supposed to use to restore it YEARS ago and all of a sudden, that money somehow grew legs and walked off and the college was never restored, people stopping mowing it and tending to it and it slowly became more and more run down to the point of becoming a safety hazard. The college itself may be gone but the history and impact it had in Crockett and SO many young women back then will NEVER be destroyed or left to rot away like they did with that beautiful building.
