@thatoneprogrammer_dev: Reasons to hire a developer instead of building it yourself: 1. You'll spend weeks on it. Nights, weekends, "I'll just fix this one thing" at 1am. Time you'll never get back. 2. And after all that time, most people still don't love what they built. They settle. Their website becomes the thing they're quietly embarrassed to send people to. 3. Your time has a price. Every hour wrestling a drag-and-drop builder is an hour you didn't spend on the actual thing you're good at, the thing that makes you money. 4. "It looks fine" and "it works right" are two different things. DIY builders make the front look okay while the important parts (speed, mobile, how you show up in search and AI answers) quietly fall apart. 5. Then come the plugins. There are entire libraries of them, thousands to scroll through, and half the battle is figuring out which ones you even need. Guess wrong and you've bolted the wrong tools onto your site, or three that do the same thing. 6. And every plugin you add is a door. Some of those doors have locks that don't work. Security holes get found and exploited, and most DIY owners don't even know the door is open, let alone how to close it. 7. When something breaks, and it will, you're the one on call. No support line. Just you, a forum thread from 2019, and a site that's down while customers are trying to reach you. 8. You're not just building a website once. You're maintaining it forever. Updates, outages, that plugin that stopped working after the last update. That never stops. Here's the other way: 1. I build it right the first time, so you're not the one troubleshooting it at midnight. 2. I stay on after launch. Your site is managed, watched, and kept current. If something breaks, it's my problem to solve, not yours. 3. I build every site to be found, by Google and by the AI tools people now use to pick who they hire. Your website should be working for you while you sleep. Not keeping you up. That's what I do. Visit my website: thatoneprogrammer.dev #entrepreneur #founders #entrepreneurtips
