Taylor was robbed they need to go back to When Dancing with the Stars gave the judges the power to make the final elimination decision, they utilized a mechanic known as the "Judges' Save". This rule was active from Season 28 through Season 31 (2019–2022) to prevent less-skilled celebrities with massive fan bases from knocking out superior dancers.• If there were three judges: A simple 2-to-1 majority automatically saved one couple, sending the other home. • If there were four judges: If three judges agreed, it was a majority vote. However, if the first three judges split their votes (e.g., 2 votes for Couple A, 1 vote for Couple B), the final decision fell entirely on the designated Head Judge (the late Len Goodman).Why was it removed? The show officially scrapped the Judges' Save starting in Season 32. Executive producer Deena Katz explained that the creative team felt the save diminished the impact of the viewers' choices, deciding the show should return to letting "America's vote" dictate the outcome directly.
