Had a buddy named Evan. He was one of my first middle school friends, we had similar interests in video games/anime and a bunch of nerd stuff but where we really deviated was in other stuff. I was still super into sports while he didn’t have one sport bone in his body. Despite that one of the best memories was us in 8th grade gym class together and he always gave me the ball during dodgeball and played support the entire time to help me. Can’t count on hands how many games we won with that kinda support. We stayed super close friends throughout hs until we stopped talking after covid. Dude was a great guy. I hope he’s doing well for himself

He’s in jail now and we live completely different lives now. Haven’t talked in a couple years, but there were days in middle school we would stay at each others house for weeks at a time.
