People are jealous. They have never done ANYTHING as awesome as write a book and they have never cared for anything as much as you care for Mr Fluff so they lash out. I mean how dare YOU get to have an adorable pet raccoon AND be a successful author?!?!? It’s just too much for their miserable existence to handle. It’s definitely not you, it’s them.
