the thing is, this show is supposed to show how dance is for EVERY body, EVERY age, and EVERY race. His dances will look different than tyler’s or Harry’s because they are all different people. Just because he’s not doing flips or lifts in his dances doesn’t mean he’s getting “sympathy” votes. he’s getting votes because he’s improving for what HE can do.

Guillermo night 1 vs tonight feels night and day. Like yeah he's still probably the worst of all the guys but isn't the point that they learn and improve? Jackson & Tyler were/are better than him but they really haven't shown any improvement in the 3 shows and he has by a mile

Also can we talk about how first week Guillermo played along with the jokes about how he wasn’t very good, but now that he’s gotten pretty far he’s actually working rlly hard and I feel like he gets a bit sad after the judges comments because they’re never serious. Just look at his expressions the last 2 weeks. I think he genuinely wants them to give genuine feedback, we know he’s not the best but put some respect on my man’s hard work, he’s improved so much !

Also Whitney coming out saying he preaching even when she has to sit down 😭😭 yeah that man deserves to show what he’s got ! I also think people forget that it’s not about who dances the best lol. The show has varying levels of skills and based on fan votes for a reason. It’s whole package people are voting for. Maybe some people base their vote off of dance technicalities, but some people base it off of progress, personality, etc.
