From Nepal to the UAE… the story of the Wood Apple More than ten years ago, I personally brought this tree from Nepal when it was still a tiny seedling, only around 20–30 cm tall. Today, Mashallah, it has grown into a huge tree reaching more than 20 meters in height. The Wood Apple is a distinctive thorny tree. Its fruit has an extremely hard, wood-like shell that must be cracked open to reach the pulp inside. The taste is naturally tangy, and it can be prepared as a juice and sweetened with honey or sugar according to preference. It is also traditionally known for its nutritional and health-related uses. Mashallah, this tree produces abundant fruit throughout the year, and because of its great height, many of the fruits remain high in the canopy and fall naturally when they ripen. #احمد_الحفيتي #ahmed_alhefeiti #مشتل_وادي_دفتا #wadi_dafta_plantation #wood_apple - @wadi_dafta_plantation
